More than 150 events are being staged at nearly 6 arts districts in and around Denver, including dozens of museums, galleries and theaters, with the Starz Denver Film Festival leading off the week.

Denver Arts Week is collaborating with the City’s 150th birthday celebration to bring locals and visitors a week of discounts and special programming at theaters, museums, galleries and more. The official 150th birthday celebration will be on November 22, with birthday cake and FREE admission to select attractions.

Denver Arts Week opens with “Night at the Museums” on Friday, November 14th. Denver museums are offering FREE admission from 5-10pm with special programming, from jazz, modern dance and lantern tours, to Polar-Palooza at the Denver Museums of Nature & Science. Free shuttles are also provided.

Denver Arts Week presents “Night on the Red Carpet” on Saturday evening, November 15, in cooperation with Starz Denver Film Festival and its “Big Night” at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Denver theaters are also “rolling out the red carpet” with special discounts. Get creative, wear red and join the fun!
